GOD NEVER INTENDED TO PRESERVE HIS WORDS IN HEBREW OR GREEK

Many preachers and “scholars” love to run to the original Greek and Hebrew languages to show off. They do so believing that God’s intention was to preserve the bible perfectly only in the Greek and Hebrew, therefore to “really know the bible” one must be able to understand Greek and/or Hebrew. But thanks be to God who left us an indication within the scriptures that he never intended to preserve his words in the Greek and Hebrew. Revelation 9:11 says, “…whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.” Now brethren, why would God have to tell us what the name of the anti-christ would be in the Hebrew and Greek if he were already planning on preserving his words in either language? It makes no sense for this verse to be worded this way, unless you are reading it in another language. Conclusion: God’s intention all along was to preserve his words in another language other than Greek or Hebrew. Thank God for the King James “English” Bible, Ps 138:2!
